I had to share this image of our dessert from the Zinfandel tasting. This was sooo amazing. Dark chocolate mousse, orange pound cake, candied spicy almonds and a cayenne pepper tuile cookie. Do I need to say anything more? We are currently working up a fabulous menu for the Chardonnay tasting on the 9th.
After the Chardonnay tasting on March 9th at 7:30 we will be kicking off our VH1 Save the Music Foundation promotion. In March and April we will sell 2 wines by the glass for $6; a Central Coast California Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. For each case sold William Hill will donate money that directly impacts music in local schools. Many of the schools are located right here in Detroit. Not bad, you can drink great wine and support your community at the same time.
Now on to more tasting news. Thursday Angelinas will be the location for a local wine event hosted by Harbortown Market. From 6pm - 8pm we will have appetizers and 5 wines for $15. The wines include Moscato, Viura-Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Napa Blend. Sure to be a treat.
I just happen to have a bottle of the Grayson Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon on hand and thought it might entice you to come on out and try something new. The 2009 opens with some serious toasty oak and deep dark fruit. It is dark plum in color and has a nose of dark berries such as cherries and blackberries. It is full bodied with a velvety mouth feel. Sure to go with anything from crackers and cheese to a big juicy steak. Perfect for the upcoming spring Bar-B-Ques. It is an attractive price point to boot, so come on out and join us for some fun.
hey nice post, their is something to learn from this article. best one from my article list.
